So a while back someone suggested that I do tutorials as a way of getting my “work” out there…
The tuts are not that amazing..but I’ll probably get better as I become more confident. In the meantime..chk out the two i’ve done so far =)

January 11, 2010 Mink!
So I’ve decided to use “Mink” as my design business name.. Short or merci ink. Will probably register it sometime in the summer…
But in the mean time i have my mind on another project.
Working with the founders of thr black art group BANetwork to hopefully make it bigger than it already is… Wish us luck!!

October 10, 2009 Ahhh designer’s block!
So for some reason I haven’t been designing! Just haven’t been In the mood lately, life has taken over and I find myself jus staring at my Photoshop icon. =( as soon as I have a break frm school I’m gonna attempt this thing again and get back to making decent money. Wish me luck!

…was I thinking when I named my company pink monkey???!! everyone things it’s an escort company lol!! Lucky for me I tend to procrastinate so I didn’t waste $60 registering the name. Time to go back to the drawing board and actually come up with a name that will

So I finally have a name, I was on the fence with this name at first but I’m loving it now! It suits my personality and it might jet be a tad memorable plus all
It frenz are now referring to me by that name.. So heck! Why not?! Pink monkey it is!!! Yay now I can work on all the businessy (dnt think thats a word) stuff.

Creating a business is easy but naming it, not so much. It would seem as if every business name is taken and there’s none left or mabye i’m not thinking outside the box? Either way this is seriously frustrating! I guess it could be seen as a good thing, for when I do come up with a name it will most likely be something I absolutely love!

Hey! My name is Shauna, I’m a creative designer based in Toronto. I’m currently going through the process of setting up my very own design company, I’ll update you on my progress as I go on. Right at this very moment I am still brainstorming names, I’ve gone from “mercidesigns..to mink..to pink monkey”(lol), hopefully I can come up with a name I absolutely love.
